The Process of Kitchen Cabinet Painting & Finishing

Not all kitchen cabinet painting projects are the same. We take a thorough assessment of your existing space to determine the best course of action. Once we have a scope of work established we can quote the project and set a work schedule and completion date.

All the products we use are top of the line and an acrylic urethane finish ensures durability and easy cleaning.

The quality house painting brands we trust most include: Sherwin Williams, Dunn-Edwards, West Marine and Sikkens.

As work begins we are very cautious to keep your space clean and undisturbed as much as possible. We will lay out floor coverings and clean as we go. During the prep phase we will be prepping and masking the cabinets for painting & finishing.

The cabinet doors and drawer fronts are finished off site and returned after completion. This allows the homeowner to have freedom from workers in their home. An estimated time to complete an average kitchen is 2 weeks with 4 days of in home work. That way the homeowner can use their kitchen while we finish the doors. This involves masking off of all surfaces and cabinet boxes to protect from overspray and dust. We don’t have to remove most of the existing cabinets due to our thorhough masking practices.
